ZINCH_WARNING

zinch is a shady if you ask me. If a contest holder giving away $20,000 is not smart enough to handle cookies when a contest starts. I think that shows their level of programming, leaving the door wide open for all types of bad web behavior. It is a crime that people stoop that low to cheat, but that is the web and when money is involved who knows what will happen they sure have no clue. I would be worried about putting any personal data on this type of site as well.

It is also a shame for those poor students who felt they were in a legit contest. That zinch didn't think about the 'ways of the web' before launching the contest. Day one of contest they were calling the students cheaters, changing the rules days into the contest just shows how bad it was put together.

I followed the contest, can someone really know 25,257 people to vote for them one round and lose the next with only 3583 votes? What happened to all ther friends or did they get those votes by sql-insertion or some other form of cheating. Ya so someone will get the money but is it the correct person, was it a real contest??
DID zinch.com just brush off the concerns of the student, family and friend?? Of course they did, I got emails to prove it.

Contest holder would never admit these wrong doings as it would be bad for there company but you can read about many of them in the original blogs they posted on there own site. Too bad zinch couldnt make right there wrongs. admit they had a contest that was flawed. Apologize to the 200 students they got involved in this mess.

I feel bad for the kids that make it past the first round, oh the time they wasted. These are some of the best student who could of been using there time to study or volunteer but they were out advertising for a scam, or not, you decide for yourself.
